Fact # 1...I am the mother of newly minted driver in the family (my son just got his license)
Fact # 2...I am also the mother of a brand new college freshman (how is it possible?...it was just yesterday that she was in first grade).
Fact # 3...If I could be any animal I would choose to be a dolphin (one of these days I want to swim with the dolphins).
Fact # 4...I'll only get in the pool if it feels almost like bath water (Yes, I'm a whimp)
Fact # 5...I never cease to be amazed by the wonders of nature
{Thanks Kim & Xanthe }
I love the simplicity of your photos. Feels very serene. I'm with you on 3, 4 and 5!
ReplyDeleteLove your post and totally agree with you on fact 4.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your son and daughter! I agree, the warmer the better for the pool!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Dawn simple but full of meaning...
ReplyDeleteA great set of facts and beautiful images. My kids are growing up so fast too - you wonder where the time has gone!
ReplyDeleteLovely images. Great post!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I agree with only swimming in warm pools!! I'm just a few years ahead of you on our journey's through parenting. My son just started his Junior year of college and my daughter is a HS senior/college freshman (concurrent enrollment). Is your daughter living on campus or commuting?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your wonderful comments...I really appreciate you taking the time to leave some love!
ReplyDeleteJulie- She is living on campus...about an 11 hour drive from where we live, but a short 1 1/2 hour direct flight. Being able to text and video chat with her is awesome!
Lots of changes ahead for you. Our daughter is 8 hours away starting her sophomore year. It is good for them to be away, they definitely become new people living that far away. I agree about the pool water, that is why I like hot tubs :)
ReplyDeleteYes...a hot tub would be perfect!
DeleteLovely photos and lovely facts...well done!
ReplyDeleteDenise in Akron, Ohio from BL and BTS
I love these facts about you but as for the pool I would have to add an no one can see me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLee...too funny!
DeleteMy daughter just got her license also. I love those flowers... wonder what they are.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your daughter! I was wondering what those flowers were too...I'll have to investigate (ie. Google) them.
DeleteI checked Google images and it looks like the flower is called cleome (spider flower) or spinosa. Love Google!
