Sand + Surf + Sun = Summer

We finally had a day without rain so we put on our sunscreen, slipped on our flip-flops, packed our snacks & headed to the beach for the first time this summer. It was a gorgeous afternoon to just sit on the beach towels, read our books, smell the salt air, listen to the crashing waves & watch the white seagulls flying against the bright blue sky. Of course I took the requisite pictures of the ocean and sand buckets and sea shells, but this one was my favorite shot of the day...love the design of that coke can (I'm already thinking of how I can use it as inspiration for a scrapbook layout)!
